Just purchased a I believe 1962 Allis Chalmers D17 series 3 (D17 42734) if I de coded correctly. I have the shop manual but would dearly love the operators manual to know what all is/does and/or needs when serviced.
Needs some work on her but runs like a top, cosmetic work more than anything, seat been a mouse home, no gauges on her, hydraulic lines cracking some minor leaks nothing in my thoughts real big just time orientated repairs I can handle. Came with a loader (pto driven pump, would like to change to a front drive style to be able to use the pto or any other ideas?) that is working great so for the 1200 I gave I do not think I went wrong yet anyway. Going to be my project for this year and would like all the manuals I could get on her if possible.
