1940's Salop screw type tipping trailer information required

Post #1 by swiftruss » Sun May 17, 2015 2:15 pm

Does anyone have any knowledge or pictures of a 40's Salop screw type tipping trailer. I have the chassis and am keen to replicate the original woodwork as accurately as possible. The trailer appears to be very similar to Bamfords original trailer as displayed in their factory foyer. The tilt screw mechanism is stamped Salop Trailer Co ltd, Old Coleham, Shrewsbury.
More pictures available on request.
Any information would be much appreciated.

Might be an idea to ask on one of the farming forums.
