Hey there. I bought the sevice manual for the ih 424. There is no info on the hydraulic pump. Anyone know where to look or if I need to by a separate manual? I need to replace the front seal and I would like some schematic and instruction. Thanks

Welcome to the forum. 
I am curious, what is the manual's "name" and put out by which publisher?
These below might be worth a look to fill in any blanks
IH B275/B414/354/364/384/424/444/2424/2444 workshop manual
Case IH BC144/BD144A/BD154 engine service manual
The hydraulic pump should be on the engine, so the BD154 might be worth a look.
Edit: Don't worry about the engine service manual, it only has the barest of info and nothing about the hydraulic pump ... the first one does, starting about paragraph 197
