Fordson Standard N, (On gas oil)?

Post #1 by FOWLER MAN » Sun Nov 02, 2014 10:23 pm

Hi All,
The Standard Fordson I recently restored, (see in Projects), has become difficult to start.
I have found a crack or two in the manifold and the air bypass tube has corroded away. So unless someone has a reasonably priced replacement :?: :?: I will have to spend big money on aftermarket bits.

Anyway, you live and learn. I didnt know till making enquiries now that a modified vapouriser plate had been available for these TVO tractors to allow them to run on gas oil.
Apparently the inner plate N9433 was made from brass. No other moddification was required.
