I have taken the seat off to repair the hinge, here are some pictures of the loader hydraulics - it is very simple, pipe from gear box casing to valve/control, pipe to ‘T’ piece then on to each ram - I presume this is normal ?

All looks normal, the lever on the left is the loader lockout.
With that much old pipework under your butt you might want to look at refreshing the rubber pipes before you get an unplanned lube job.

I would agree, compared to some installations it’s a dogs dinner - but whilst it’s working the low cost option is to leave alone ! - I saved £15.47 today by making a new seat pin, bit of basic metalwork and a scrap piece of steel - as good as new

Its being put to good use and I have mastered the loader, I used the muck fork and it was OK, it does have three tines missing, but I am working on that ( I have two bent ones with sheared studs) but the bucket is better for the moving the heap as I found yesterday - the latest question is should I be lubricating the bucket pins ? what about the three point linkage joints ?

Hardly used muck fork by the look of it. I don't think the rear links have any grease points and lubrication is questionable as the oil would attract dust. I don't think that type of bucket/fork pin was greased. Probably working on the principle that most stock farming folk kept their grease gun in pristine condition.

Just a wee correction for hair bear.Please don't take offence! The 'x' doesn't denote diff lock. It's for extra power. There was around 6hp more from the engine as the injector pump was tweaked a little. A3.152X engine with a few other little differences.The standard 35 had just a A3.152 engine. Diff lock was optional on them but standard on MP models. Diff lock was optional on non X models as well and likewise on the first 135s.Quite a few other differences between the 35 and 35X too...

I consider myself schooled!!!!!

..... I have lubricated all the non grease nippled pivots and joints with a liberal spray of ‘Fluid-Film’ as recommended by a friend.

…. just a small update, it’s been a little beauty - 3’x 4’ x 8’ bails not a problem - we had some contractors in to do the bailing but their loader was too big to get to the small barns - not a problem for the 35, transported across 3 fields on the rear bail spikes and then managed to stack them 2 high using the rear bail spikes, then add a third with the front loader + 2 ratchet straps ( as the tines on the front loader muck fork we’re not long enough!)



…. and I have totally mastered the front loader with bucket - we have a nicely kept muck heap !



…. but now the confession, I did get it stuck in the muck heap, but managed to get it out with the help of a tug from a friends quad - even using the diff lock and really teasing out the clutch it would start to creep and then just spin up - would a rear weight help ? any other advise ?
