Been playing around with our old Massey 175, used it for mowing, harrowing, rotovating, and spring tining so far this year! poor old thing it's 47 years old. I've even fathomed out roughly the draft control on it. It's personally my favourite vehicle as it's the first thing I ever drove, and other than the clutch being a bit jerky it's all mechanically sound. Shame about the 'lectrics! just wondered if anyone knows much about the old 175's I only ever seem to generally see 135s and the odd 165 from time to time, but the 175s seem relatively few and far between.

the 175 evolved in to the 185 in the early 70s as did the 178 become the 188 which was 8" longer than the 185 and blessed with either 8sp or 12 sp multi-power gearbox and independant PTO

Re: Massey 175
that's a point, other than engine braking is there any difference between high and low multipower, our 175 has the 12 spd multipower gearbox.
