Re: BigKit
No! Not a bad little project but parts availability hard. The tin work was suffering from metal moth but the main frame looked ok. Besides if I really want one I'd like a 6 wheel one with CAT on the front.
That D3 wasn't mine I borrowed it for the weekend. Its now sold and pushing hard.......for a D3!

Re: BigKit
It was good to see the bit of script in the Beano about the muckshift event, I loved the description of the 941 shovel as sounding well, this must have been 1 second before the engine ate it self throwing all its valves into Orbit Via the Exhaust pipe, lucky I was able to supply Graham another motor for jam jars that seems to have sorted the sounding well knacker problem, did the grader sell? any idea on price, as I have 1 myself needing a new home.

I thought that some of the plant at rogers sale made good money that cat 966F about 1997
with over 20000 hrs and the 2002 daewoo longreach both well over 40 thousand
the lorry trailers also sold well but did not think the lorrys sold so well think roger might have took some home again
Sorry TC did not see grader sold it was pixxing it down at the time and I was sheltering under a lorry buck

Re: BigKit
The grader sold for £5,400 plus 2% plus VAT. The older trucks made good money, the 11 plate mercedes went but the big MAN did n't. The trailers went for good money, at least the ones I wanted did so no joy there. The crusher and screener were the buys of the day I reckon. Lots of interest and cash about for low cost items so they sold well, bargains to be had for more expensive items as the pretenders (like me) hid at the back looking at their boots!
A good day out but came home with my dosh!!!

That crusher Pacific Rim was the first one that the company made
and they then went bust not long after they delivered it dont think
you can get spares and you have to get parts made for it
