Could it be an entirely IH product? That grille has a very "Loewy" look. O.t.o.h., I don't even know if IH ever produced graders, though they seem to have produced most types of machinery.

Hi, Folks.
At first glance in the first photo, I thought it might be an Adams but the frame, blade lift, etc., leave little doubt in my mind that it is a Galion, possibly a version or derivative of the 503 and I suspect that it may have been a military model. Both Galion and Adams used IH engines in many of their graders but until I saw this machine I thought the use of IH tinware was strictly an Adams trick.

Thanks for sharing and I hope this little bit of info helps.
You have a wonderful day. Best wishes. Deas Plant.

Deas has it. Thats a Galion 503. My brother bought one with out a cab and thought that a shifting fork was bad in the transmission. It was run out of adjustment and crashed some gears. Its at the shop stripped down. Just a big neck and a seat and blade.

My brothers 503 has a gas 6 cylinder IH motor. THe other give away for Galion is the turn circle gear box its on the right hand side and has a round motor.
