Here is a photo I took as a young boy of a CMI Autograder working during construction of the M27 motorway between Southampton-Portsmouth.
I have never seen one of these machines since, does anyone know if the CMI company still exists?? I almost certain that they were an American company.
Nick.

Re: CMI Autograder (1974)
Just spotted this post! CMI still exist today, they are owned by Terex and are part of Terex Roadbuilding.

I recall CMI used to have links with Caterpillar I remember that CMI built road building equipment for Cat through a j.v. but Cat took full ownership.
