Cat 16M grader UK COAL

Well i took a trip down to lodge house in Derbyshire today and this was working about 20ft away from me!

nice pics ive been working in uk coal park wall north site and 2 new 16m are ready to go to work next week

Haha no photoshopping needed mate! We've had sun for the last week and it was quite dusty......it did start raining whilst i was there though.....always the way though i suppose haha

Nice one Joes,don't see many of them about.
Just been reading this months earthmovers mag about a new Volvo grader.Looks similiar in size to a Cat 14. :thumbup:

Yeh its certainly is a lost art! I would imagine the new M series graders are easier to drive compared to the old grader with all the levers! Its funny in my 22 years on the planet i dont think ive seen as many graders knocking around on sites! Theres UK coals 16M from the pics about 10 miles away then theres 2 16G's about a mile away and a 16H (i think) about a mile in the other dierection.....then i saw a convoy of graders that had been imported from the USA....theses were on wagons on the M1 near Chesterfield last wednesday morning....oh and we had another 16G near chesterfield a few months ago too.....

Geez they look naked without a set or rippers on the rear,is it a big pit that one?just looking at the size of the trucks they look like 775 or maybe 777F series CATs
