a new 14M rigged out with a scarifier as per the Norscot model would weigh in at a smidge over 23,000 kgs, and an over all length, again with scarifier, of 10,896mm.

The Cat 16G in the pic was and still is a first rate machine. It's of late 1970's I think and the only grader really for coalsites and big scraper jobs. They are often used for pushing scrapers in the mornings after rain to skim the wet muck up off the fill area. The GF will put a few of his best scraper drivers out and a grader to clean up after rain before the rest of the scrapers and pushers come out to move muck again.
SRB,any road rage moments? :D

Nice pics thanks. We used to have an early 16G in ECC,Cornwall. Changing cutting edges every 7/10 days in all weathers was'nt much fun.
