Great pictures, Roly. It's amazing what can be done by graders in the right hands !
I remember we used to use a towed Allen grader for levelling playingfields. After a while you develop a good eye for seeing where all the hills and hollows are.

His name is Randy Kreig,he works for a company in Alaska and has worked for Caterpillar testing and demonstrating as far as I know!! One of the best if not the best!!!

Amazing what can be done. The only time I have watched a grader in action was in Oz years ago. It was quite a small one owned by a small contactor. He constucted a really good farm track in a very short space of time. Everything from 1st strip, gullies for run off and good camber on finished aggregate. We (over here) would have been s*dding about with a 360 for many more hours. So why do we not use them or am just not looking in the right places?
