Hi everybody Been a while i know Thought i`d post an update & try to catch up.Still with Sparkes.Not been on my ZX350 full time since the end of march last year.The machine has been in a quarry helping to shift 3million tons of scalps.I have been with it on & off,also driving a Hitachi ZX470 & Volvo EC460BL,loading our Volvo A30D`s & E`s,& A40E`s & F`s.I could load them in 2 more passes with the 350 & nearly as quick as i could with the 45t machines.My once loved 350 has no paint left on the rear end .Will post some pics when i can.Am currently working in Somerset with a Volvo EC290CL with a crusher & screen,screening dug out soil/clay ready for lime stabilsaztion(?)
We now have as a company some new EC300DL`s,a new EC700CL which replaced our old Hitachi ZX650.2 new Komatsu PC350`s,some tidy 2nd had A30E`s from Poland,a Cat D6T pat.

Back (again) Those of you that are on face book or Nicks blog will know a few things,but here goes.Not really hammering anymore.Spending most of my time crushing.Spent nearly 6 mths crushing in somerset with a new Metso LT1213 impactor & Finlay screen making type 1,feeding it with our 2010 Hitachi ZX350,theN with the Volvo EC290CL again.Had a few weeks in Shropshire crushing with a ZX 470 Hitachi,then a few weeks a few miles from my house crushing with a brand new hired in Hyundai 235 zero swing(ok but would like to try a full size version)then at Weston super mare crushing with the EC290CL then a Volvo EC360CL(nearly made me change my mind over a Hitachi ZX350 )then back to Somerset crushing,a stint on our JCB 330 hammering(yes,THAT JCB,if you know my posts on here)10255 hrs now,the less said about that machine the better ,and now after so long away from it,back on "my" 2007 ZX350,with just over 10000 hrs on it,and still a damn fine machine(apart from the rear end )crushing for a fair few months near my home in Bristol.Had some time on 1 of our year old Volvo EC480DL`s,which was quite nice.
As a company,we now have a new Hitachi ZX290,2 ZX470``s ariving anytime now,a new ZX210 just arrived,with a new ZX670 on its way.2 low houred A40F`s just added.And i think our 2007 ZX870 is going,replaced by the new ZX670.A new Finlay jaw crusher,a Finlay screen & a new Hitachi 310 loading shovel.Not been out of work with them since the recesion.Will add some pics to this thread in a bit.

Welcome back , thought you'd been backfilled!

Well my 2007 Hitachi ZX350 got a bit of a fault,so it went away to our yard to be fixed.In its place i now have a very late 2013 ZX290/5,500 hrs when i got it

are you sure thats possible for a "very late" 2013 ,perhaps an early one ,as there are only 8700 odd hours in a year
