Re: Jungle gold
saw the first one i think , looks to be manufactured rubbish like gold rush
the new mechanic was arriving , in a interview before he went ,it was all about bad times no work or money
yet when he gets the he suddenly has loads of expensive tattoos
and your telling me they could not find something a bit better than that old bit of string to tie the throttle back
not sure how that fixed the bad injectors though

Re: Jungle gold
He could have used his belt to secure the throttle, his trousers would have fallen down though That bit of string fixed the injector problem I have been told stories by Mirrlees engineers that its quite mad working on contracts in Africa, one fitter told me he was givern a gun on his first day out there,Newport is a pretty wild place to work
I would like a look around that machinery parts market On Ax men, that guy from down South pulling logs from the river,I worked with a nut like him And the father and son having a go at each other all the time are a couple of loonies.

Re: Jungle gold
Did anyone see the other new programme Gold Diggers which is on a Wednesday eve, about three groups out in Alaska, some nice machines on this programme a direct drive D9 not sure if it was a G or an H series, Cat 245 and Cat 375 machines so this one should be quite entertaining to watch although the guy commentating through the programme is a bit annoying.

Re: Jungle gold
That Doosan DL400 loader that Fred Hurt was a demo unit from Doosan america! Wasnt a hired machine like he said in the programme! I had heard that the original crew of gold rush the Hoffmans had been paid 25k an episode to do it! And discovery paid for the machinery too!
Do any of you watch Swamp loggers? Another good programme!
