Hi all,

We are spoilt for choice here in the UK at the moment with two titles ...Classic Plant & Machinery magazine http://www.cpmmag.co.uk and Earthmovers Magazine http://www.earthmoversmagazine.co.uk

Just wondered what our members favourite title is and also what magazines our overseas members read on the same theme.

I have had some sample copies of an Austrailian magazine in the past called Final Trim http://www.finaltrim.com.au and infact they even done a one page feature on me in 2005, it's a great mag

Well guys ;) it looks like you are all too busy reading the Daily Sport or Playboy or something

Because this thread has gone down like a lead balloon  :dizzy:

Im always busy on the machinery forums but I still enjoy sitting down with a cup of coffee and my latest edition of CP&M or Earthmovers

My wife got me a subscription to Earthmovers for Christmas, one of the main advantages is i get it at least a week early, plus it saves the hassle of hunting around trying to find somewhere that sells it.

Contract journel isn't a bad read, and i get emails on every couple of months from Quarry Managment (i think) that aren't too bad.

Thanks for the response Stuart

Yeh I always think a subscription is the way to go to be honest, like you say delivered straight to your door and no searching for it  I have both that way ;)

By the way Stuart, I really enjoyed the article about Finnings in the latest edition of Earthmovers did you have anything to do with them doing that piece ??

The Finning "insite" magazine is a good read. Got in there with my Cats a couple of times.
Just got a Caterpillar toolbox off Ebay brand new for £30, the retail price was nearly £180.
Looking forward to Peter Simpsons visit,he plans to spend a few days in the area looking out for old plant to feature in CPM
Also looking forward to ACMOC agm in May at Rob Wilsons place.

Cat magazine is out quarterly.

If you click on the link you should be able to download issues:

http://unitedkingdom.cat.com/cda/layout?m=102960&x=7

Failing that, pop into your local (or not so local depending on where you live!) Finning branch.
