Can anyone name this item and what machine is it fitted to ?
No prizes,just a bit of fun.
A clue,it got nothing to do with a Caterpillar.

Its either a reduction drive for a tacho or a distributor for a two cylinder petrol engine? :D Well thats my guess.

Well it certainly has a drive on the one end and a bakerlite cap so my guess if its not a dizzy, it must be some kind of magneto to generate the high current for the spark plugs?
