There´s that soapbox again?
Pleeeease tell me what it means!

£ 1.09 per litre? Wow, that´s expensive. We pay about 10-11 SEK / litre and the first 20% are Moms (I think it´s something like your VAT) and businesses get the moms back from our tax governments (but we have to pay the same percentage to the governments from our customer bills). So our actual cost is about 8-9 SEK equalling about 0,6 -0,7 £ per litre. I think that´ll be 60-70 pence, isn´t it?
But we still complaint about our 10-11 SEK per litre. Some of us are never satisfied.

And I´m really surprised that you measure fuel in litre. I had expected pints. Or fluid ounces. Or 1/64 cubic yard or whatever strange units you have.

Same old story.

When the price of Oil rises then so does the price of fuel. When the price of oil goes down the price of fuel goes up.

Its all just tax tax tax.
