iveco daily classic - any good?

Post #1 by si25 » Sun Aug 16, 2009 7:12 pm

has anyone had or knows about iveco daily classics? looking at starting up on my own fitting on plant and agricultural kit. found a real tidy example on a P plate. low millage, twin wheels, ticks all the boxes for what i want. but i know no one who has run the classics. i cant afford to shell out on a van to have to do work on it! what to look for especially would be handy!
cheers.

we run a daily, its the newer model but i wouldnt buy another one, badly built and cheap interior, gearbox is nasty and ours is at 70k. if you are looking for something in that price range surely the old smiley faced transit is the way forward, i have just sold a tipper with 165k on it and it was still tight. very good truck. the VW LT's are really worth a look too
