What kind of camera equipment do you have?

Hi,

I would like to know what kind of camera equipment you have.
I am using an "old" Minolta Dimage S304, 3,3MP. The camera is rather heavy and it has a housing of metal. Love it!

Have been using a Canon EOS350D up until now. Went to upgrade to a 40D but the quality of the shot wasn't up to what I was taking with the 350 so, don't tell the wife but I've gone and bought a Nikon D300

I am off to the Caterpillar visitor centre opening in Leicester on Thursday, hob knobing it with real journalists Think I am going to look a bit pathetic with my little Samsung S850 digi

I am no professional photographer by any stretch of the imagination and dont really know what kind of camera I really need to compete any suggestions Paul??

Minolta Dimage Z1. I chose it because it starts up quick and it is quick between the pictures. It also has lots of zoom (10x optical) and it is a good movie camera (640x480, 30 fps).
But I have had it for several years and I have just started using the movie functions.

Me big camera is a canon 350D..currently slaved to the laptop for shooting models to post on me blog..had it over year and now finally using some more of its capabilites shooting with RAW..(anybody got a "spare" copy of photoshop)..
plus i want a big zoom for it....

but i have works old canon on my desk at work..gets thrown around the yard...

I still use a Nikon F55 film SLR as my main camera and various digital compacts. When the conditions are right the film SLR is in my opinion still outstanding but am slowly dragging myself into the digital SLR age and am looking at buying a Sony D350 in the January sales. Both digital and film SLR's have their good and bad points but i will look forward to taking digital photos and seeing instantly if they look good or if i need to make adjustments to get the required shot!!!!!!!

I bought a Canon PowerShot SD880 about a month ago. We have a Canon PowerShot A75 for years. My wife is the knowledgeable one about camera's. The 880 has a wide angle lens and is better at taking job documentation pictures. I don't know how it is where you are but here in the US you need to document everything you and everybody else does on a job.
