If they are near Bentwaters they could be what the aliens dumped there back in the 80's!

Stone age road cones? :lol: but seriously the one looks as if there is concrete in it, which if that's the case then I'd guess that they were some kind of counterweight for either a crane or a boat? :think:

I can't expand the pic but they don't look unlike what we call 'dragons teeth' or more officially known as Tank Stops. There was a WW2 GHQ stop line on the east coast that would have been inland but sort of parallel to the coast. Just a possibility.

I think you have it! The friend that sent the photo was short on clues but he did admit they were military, although I had thought they could be an alternative staddle stone.

Friend finally gave the answer, apparently mounts for pill box installation of light ack-ack guns.

That makes sense I thought they weren't tank traps as they tend to be solid concrete blocks. :thumbup:
