If they are near Bentwaters they could be what the aliens dumped there back in the 80's!

but seriously the one looks as if there is concrete in it, which if that's the case then I'd guess that they were some kind of counterweight for either a crane or a boat?

I can't expand the pic but they don't look unlike what we call 'dragons teeth' or more officially known as Tank Stops. There was a WW2 GHQ stop line on the east coast that would have been inland but sort of parallel to the coast. Just a possibility.

I think you have it! The friend that sent the photo was short on clues but he did admit they were military, although I had thought they could be an alternative staddle stone.

Friend finally gave the answer, apparently mounts for pill box installation of light ack-ack guns.

That makes sense I thought they weren't tank traps as they tend to be solid concrete blocks.
