Hey guys,
I spent last saturday at my favourite place in england.....Duxford air museum for the Battle of Britain 75th anniversary airshow.
Just thought id share some of the 1700+ photos i managed to take.

Very good joe . I can feel a career change coming on. That's a good passion to have. Maybe a microlight this Christmas to get you started?

Haha that would be great Clive.....
Funnily enough i was only saying i could happily give up the plant at the minute earlier on today...dont know if i just need a change of firm though!! If i did id definitely try and get myself into the Aviation industry!

Great idea Clive a mate of mine owns his own 'kite' which I've been up in more than once; he did swap this 'flex wing' for a fixed wing version all good fun!

Great pictures Joe, Sally B the B17 is a rare sight indeed i have seen her fly over us on a couple of occasions now. Was the Vulcan at Duxford, she is now ino har last few weeks of flying now such a shame this icon and amazing piece of British Engineering can't be kept air worthy.

No unfortunately she was further south with the red arrows and couldn't attend duxford! Still trying to see her fly before she gets grounded!
She's doing a UK tour as a farewell on the 10-11th of October and should fly over my house so going to be keeping an eye out for her then!

Clive the sponsors that provide the money to keep it flying have withdrawn from the project and keeping a Vulcan in the sky would not come cheap; such a shame really its a lovely aircraft but with no hard cash to keep it in the air that's the end of that as they say. Does anybody know where she will finally be located when the flying days are over?
