Yeh too right Martyn... Lets get it on guys ... I have heard a lot of talk about forum meet ups in the past but they rarely amount to much as folk normally cry off when it comes to it  So lets make sure it happens this time eh

If any of you want my mobile number PM me

Nick

I'll second that Nick - Yourself, Argie, Mike D550 and Jeremy Rowland all have my mobile - but if anyone else wants it for Hillhead then please PM me. Lets go for the group shot in the bucket of the 6030

That would be good ....but I suspect it will be out of bounds like the Bucyrus model at Bauma was

The dreaded H&S rules etc

I was hoping you will be able to get access to the cab but I suppose that could be a H&S nightmare + I dont suppose the new owner will want every man and his dog putting their size 10 muddy boots in the new cab!

On a plus note the weather is forecast to be dry on wednesday!

On a negative note I have to do a spot of work on wednesday morning before i set off on a 2 3/4hr drive to Hillhead  , I am hoping to get down between 12:30 and 1pm, hopefully I can still make the CMN get together and be part of the photo in/near the 6030 bucket  If not I will try and meet up with people during the afternoon! I will be PM-ing my mobile number to people just in case I am late getting down.

Not long to go!!!!!

Regards

Mike D550 8-)

Mike,
All depends what Finning have laid on in the way of access to the 6030. Most machines are accessable to the public but I can imagine there will be a bit of a queue for the big Cat! Don't think there is much difference from the old RH120 in the cab though!

Gents just a quick note here; I attended the show today and bumped into Paul Argent  I also now intend going tomorrow so if we all want to meet up I would suggest that we meet by the Cat 6030 say at 1:00 that gives everybody a chance to have a good look round first.
I have suggested this as you may or may not get a decent moby signal in the quarry  for those who can then I am sure we can make the meet up easier.
Great show BTW :D

Look forward to seeing you again, and meeting some of the others too.

Nah mate despite two queue jumpers the queue moved fairly quickly with six at a time let in. :o

Jeremy

p.s. For the rest of you that was the queue to view the 6030 cab etc. ;)
