thank you ... what do you do for a living at the moment Andy ?

I work for an American Bank in customer services.....yawn . Wish I'd followed my instincts when I left school and become a machine driver. A local plant hire firm have relief drivers that do runs between the local recycling sites basically compacting rubbish in the 'roll-on/roll-off' skips, so I might get a foot in the door there but need to get my ticket first. Over the past few years I've also been trying to build up my collection of models, particularly backhoes and was hoping to get one of the 1:25 sc ale 3c2s you were doing up to last year but in the end I couldn't afford it (children coming first again!). Would have loved to have been around in the seventies driving the 3c's (even though today's machines are far more sophisticated and easier to handle). Have to go now, I wonder would anyone know what would be the minimum requirement to enable me to get on the backhoe loader ladder in terms of licence/ticket requirement? Cheers, Andy.
