Hi all, and thank you for the comments and welcome
Well to make a model is a long process, and it all starts with plans and loads of sheet white plastic, glue and filler to make a master fit for casting.

For intrest this is the master of the front bucket for the drott, this took over a week to do, its not just a matter of making a scaled down version, you have to think how and what is the best way to cast the master, but when you have worked this all out its time for pouring the mould.
The mould is in two halfs and this process takes three days to do, when its all set its time to clamp it all down and start pouring the metal alloy useing the centralfugal machine.
When cast its just a matter of cleaning the part, sanding it, spraying and then putting it all together, simple eh when its written down, but it took 6 months and 6 prototypes to get to the drott we have now, but as ever we are looking for improvments all the time.
Oh i forgot the decals and the little things that make the model, thank goodness for todays computer programs.
