I found these photos of some new Spec Cast models of classic machines coming in the future that were exhibited at the National Toy Truck N Construction Show this weekend in Indianapolis. I would have like to attend the show personally, but it was not possible.
Im really surprised (but very pleased as well) to see these machines becoming available in model form! I am more than excited thinking about other R.G. LeTourneau and International machines they could produce.
All the best,
John

They look great, have you seen the BTD6 Drott produced by Kent vintage diggers? Will be getting the 1/25 scale D9 in December.

Martyn,
I am familiar with Mr. Henleys models. Over the years the quality and detail have improved significantly. The International BTD6 Drott looks to be his best piece yet!
My collection is primarily 1:50/1:48 scale, but I may have to make an exception for this model (in the red color scheme of course).
John
P.S.: I have his two Hymac models.

If these models are as detailed as my Speccast D2 with toolbar blade, I want one of each. The LeTourneau Super C really looks good. Id like to see them do a D8 2U but I have a hunch Classic Construction Models will beat them to the punch.

Hi Juke,
Although technologies involved in producing diecast scale models have improved dramatically in recent years; there remains one consistency. The larger the surface area, the smaller the details that can be included on the model.
I am anxious to see the cable-operated TD-24! I have been told it will only be available with the crawler logging winch, but can not confirm this.
All the best,
John
