Hi,
Has anyone ever found a good solution to model rams that are too loose?
Thanks,

Re: Model Rams
If they are the usual moulded type with shiny metal rod insert try this; Disconnect the insert and pull it right out.. degrease it and holding vertically by its non ram end, dip it into a tin of GLOSS varnish.
Still holding it upright allow the excess to run off the end the allow it to dry overnight whilst keeping it in the vertical position (in a bulldog clip or similar).
Repeat if another layer is required...If you muck it up a wipe over with thinners will clear it all. The main thing is to let the varnish dry properly
otherwise it will "grab" the plastic tube. Hope this helps some..
