Well I am in possession of the prototype of a possible new Hymac 1080 model; the model which is 1/35th scale is very large and damn it all I forgot to take any shots of it with another model next to it
The model is cast in metal and not resin based each track pad has been individually made and the model has some fantastic detail which you can see in the photographs. The model is of the Rolls Royce engine powered excavator and not the Cummins V6 version, it is also the later version of the 1080.
The model will be a strictly limited model with final production details to be confirmed; it is expected to retail between £250 and £300 but once again all details are to be confirmed, there may also be a face shovel version depending on the demand for this model.
I have posted these pictures here to try and gauge possible demand so please let me know if you are interested.

Re: Hymac 1080 model
Even though I usually collect 1/50 I would definitely take one of these for the mantlepiece!

Chris I will contact the source for you I don't think that these models will be produced in large numbers unless there is mass interest in them but the model is superb and I am very happy with both versions that I posses.
