My old EC700 was looking tired! It did ALOT of hours muckshifting on my old dio and as a result started feeling abit shabby too!
Seeing as it's my all time favourite machine and the model is hard to find now I decided to strip it down to bare metal and totally refurbish her!
I plan to respray it as close to the original as I possibly can!

Fair do's mate you did well stripping all that paint. It can be stubborn stuff. what did you use?

It came off quite easily mate! Shocked me to be fair! I used nitromors in the green tin! I still need to soak some part to get the rest of it off but not doing that till I get a stiffer wire brush!

Nitromors is good stuff. It struggles a bit on the thicker JOAL paint, but to be fair if you threw a joal model into the sun it would still come out with paint on it!

Yeh its great stuff! its all I use to strip models!
I know what you mean about joals paint ive stripped a few JS330L's in my time and back in the day ive ended up leaving a lot half stripped or just thrown the parts away in frustrtation!
