Something ive been working on!

Post #1 by Joes1989 » Sun Feb 23, 2014 4:26 pm

Heres my latest custom! I had made one of these along time ago and really rushed it so it turned out really quite rubbish!
This one ive been working on for about 2 months and its turned out much better than the first! It may not be perfect but im happy with it and thats all that counts!

The body on the 330 is the most time consuming! Takes a lot of filling and sanding to get it looking right! Must have taken me 3 weeks to get it to that point!

I like the 220 with the black rams much more than the yellow! Need to get my hands on an updated version!

Did you alter the bonnet? What did you make the cab care cages from? Styrene? I want the new one but it's a lot of money for a model that's just had the rear end painted black. With nzg making jcb models again I'm hoping for a js too

Yeh the guards are just styrene mate! Non functional obviously but they do make the model look better! The bonnet is a custom piece! Total rebuild!
I agree it is a fair amount of cash for the rebadge model! Still going to get one at some point!

I would like to see a JS by NZG but I get the feeling that would be an expensive model! I personally want either a 130 or 175W but can't see either happening!

I'm in the process of building a js 130 t4 version maybe a while though. Need to acquire a js cab from somewhere. Or a cheap 220. Guards do look spot on mate gonna give them a go myself.
Grant nzg are making a 535-125 loadall and the new jcb 86c midi excavator

That's going to be my next model I think! I need a couple of 220's as I've got the body of a JZ255 that needs finishing!
What are you using for a base model! Cx130 or 312b?

Isn't the silver 220 over 100 quid?

I have never seen a pic of the real midi nzg are making! I'd never heard of it!
