Anyway, I won't be getting the 3C for Christmas, as Mrs. S. has got me a mint Tonka dragline this year! The old stuff is the best, full size or in models. :thumbup:

The model reviewed on Cranes Etc is a production version. Tilting the bucket is a little stiff, but it does go as shown in the photo.

Its obviously pre mk11 1968 and post 63 but can anyone pin down more the year of the corgi model ?

In regard to the front bucket movement mentioned in a couple of posts here. I have two versions of the model, one supplied with the W.H.Malcolm truck and one supplied on its own. Interestingly, the models are a little different. One has a white front facia above the front window of the cab and the other is all yellow. On the white facia verison, the bucket cannot fully tip, as pictured at the start of this topic, as the loader arm casting prevents full movement. On the other version, it is possible to force the bucket to fully tilt. Once you have done this a couple of times, the paint rubs off the loader arms and the movement becomes easier.
