Nice pics ... But somebody please burn my eyes out with hot needles

Wonder if the front axles last longer than a 1000hrs on the new ones? Maybe a Quick release axle would be a good idea :dizzy:

What a grasp of English language and Grammar you have, you MUST know what you are talking about......

Seriously, early 740's had issues with front axles, front a frame's, drop box failures but by the later prefix machines these faults had been worked out via product improvement and Service updates, I personally worked with a fleet of 40+ 740's both early and later and gained several thousand hours of operation with relatively little major trouble, well maintained and greased 740's will give Volvo A40E's a serious run for there money.

However, i do think Volvo have the edge over Cat in the A40, major component change out is easier and quicker on a Volvo compared to the cat resulting in more up time. Volvo have been market leaders in the Bendy truck market for years but the Cat 740 is a serious contender

Nice pics! Thank you SRB!
While the "old" one still looks fresh and innovative the B Series appearance is sad. It looks like a sad dog asking for forgiveness...
