Post #1 by Mike d550 » Mon Jul 13, 2009 9:52 pm

Saw a Cat D40D heading south on a low loader on the A19 heading southbound near Thirsk!

Does anyone have any information as to who ownes this machine and where it may be going?

Know what you mean Macca1, i've not seen any new kit or projects going on in the North East for a while now appart from the opencast sites in Northumberland its very quiet :(

Its been a long time since i saw one of those D40's working, i always liked the look of them 8-)

Sorry to hear you've been laid off, it happened to me last year :( Hope you get sorted with work soon!

Not sure what you mean by "ffs" on your last post ?
