Old benford records

[Would anyonene know how or where I could find out how old a dumper is? I have a Benford dc which should be 1966 to 1969 I reckon. I have the chassis plate number. Wonder if any old manafacturing records survived from Benford factory in the 1960s

The trouble is Benford, I believe, was absorbed into Terex.

That is correct...I have contacted Benford parts suppliers in the U.K but alas they have nothing .

Your next possible way of dating it is by the engine number providing it is the original engine.
