Winger 3s replacement skip
Evening all! My 3s is now running well. Engine starts easily and will go all day no problem. I am wondering if anyone has an old skip to replace the existing one as it has seen better days. Or does anyone know who may repair the old one. After this I am onto the brakes! Work in a fashion but need an adjustment. Many thanks

Re: Winger 3s replacement skip
If it is rusted out then measure it up and get some new panels made to suit. If you can weld this makes it easy and always make your new panels with a small section 20mm bent over at right angle so you then weld it to solid steel panel next to what you cut out. Rust repairs can take a bit of time but be patient you will win. I repaired a rusted out ride on mower deck that had more rust than deck. I divided it up into sections, made the patch and tacked it into place. Kept doing this until job was complete.
If no welder then you have to reply on someone to do it for you. Chances of finding another bin is remote but not impossible but it too will be the same age and possibly just as rusty. I have seen a couple of bins totally remade by members here, lovely job but a lot of time and effort went into it.
