PH2 oil level

HI,

Hoping that some one can help me I have a PH2 in my dumper on the dip stick there is only one mark on it is this the min level or max?

My PH1 has 2 marks on stick is easy to get right.

Kevin as a general rule if there is only one mark on the stick then it is the maximum mark hope that answers your question. :thumbup:

G'Day Kevin, If you have a manual on your engine then next oil change fill it up with the correct amount of oil less 1 litre or pint and insert the dip stick. This can then be permanently marked using a hacksaw and will be your minimum level. Then pour in the rest and it should be on you existing line if all goes well.

My PH2 has 2 marks on the stick, may be yours could be off an oddball, can you put another mark on it?

Thank you for these reply's, I like the one of under filling then putting in the second mark, so will go for this.

Hi,
The PH1 & 2 Should have the same dipstick.
The crank case casting of the PH1 is only a shorter version of the PH2 casting.
Everything else including the dipstick has the same dimension so just mark the one dipstick agsinst the other.
The part Nos of both sticks are the same.
