small dumper

Post #1 by xrigger » Tue Apr 17, 2018 4:58 pm

Have recently bought what I believe to be a Thwaites Orion 1 ton dumper. Although it goes ok I would like to get some kind of manual to do maintenence and any repairs.
Have searched everywhere but cant find this particular model. It's got a single cylinder Hatz engine, looks identical to the Orion but has a swivle bucket.
Anybody got info ??

Yes, thats the one. Could do with checking the hydraulic filter, level etc would you know how to access it, I believe its in the tank.
Anyway, now I know exactly what model it is, should be able to locate servie manual somewhere.
Thanks for the info

Well I did not know that Thwaites used a Hatz engine. Looking at the skip they are not really old? Perhaps the '90s?
