Hi,
Could any of you please tell me how much this thing weighs please for transport? I have a rough idea, but would be glad to hear from others that may well be in the know.
Thanks.

It's a Thwaites 2 Ton Alldrive built during the 70's, early machines had power assisted steering (there was a mechanical link from the steering
box to the ram) later machines had full hydrostatic steering, that one has had greedy boards fitted to the skip,
unladen weight 3500 pounds or 1587 KG

Thanks guys for your info! Luckily the steering is pretty good and light, which considering the column was seized after being sat on a hill for at least 6 years is pretty lucky. The greedy boards make it huge dont they,so must have been used for bulky stuff like woodchips or a stables or park.....who knows, but there were hooks on it for tie downs for a tarp by the look of it. I did think about cutting the greedy boards off,but they’re nicely made and strong, so will leave them for now. And the blue paint Pete is some I had kicking around so blasted it one summers day, bit orrible colour, and RAF finish! But tidies it a bit. But its been red, green, black and grey in former lives. All the best boys. ;)
