Thwaites Alldrive axel oil leak

Post #1 by miles172 » Thu Jun 08, 2017 12:50 pm

Hi Guys
can anyone tell me how to fit a new oil seal to the wheel end of my axel, do I just unbolt it and pull the half shaft out or will I need special tools,

Take the wheel off, secure the machine so it is higher on that side so the oil won't spill out, take out the half-shaft,remove the hub retaining nut/s,remove the hub,the seal is on the inside,no special tools required.
