Hi
I have a Stothert & Pitt Site rider4wd dumper. I need to replace the hydraulic tip control and wondered if anyone had an idea on who I may be able to purchase the parts from.
The third pic down shows the top view of the hydraulic control. On the middle section the end of the spool is broken off and the lever assy is broken

I guess any single double acting spool will do with a built in relief valve , might need some adapters.

You have to check whether or not it is up tom the job and it does seem cheap.

Hi,
I think I'd have a go at repairing that.
If your not into that sort of thing a good engineering shop may be able to help.
Alternatively I think I would look for a spool valve from another similar sized dumper which you can adapt. That will have the relief valve and all the connections you require, though you may have to adapt the fittings to suit your pipework.
There must be plenty of scrap machines in dealers yards

Re: Stothert & Pitt Dumper..... Help required
Would help if it had a name. Most vehicle manufacturers used proprietary valves, made by Plessey, Vickers, Hamworthy,
Danfoss etc.

Danfoss etc.
