What about "ejector"? Is the front part of the bed movable to eject the load? It sure looks like that to me.
Any pics of ejecting the load?
Is it meant to be used for mud/clay and such materials that are "sticky"?

Is that the DJB derived ejector or the one from E-Ject systems?

Cat design i believe, been about on 40 tonners since about 1999, first tested on a D400E II, Cheetam Hill had one on field follow.

Excellent pics SRB, i have not seen those 730 ejector photos before. I am surprised more machines are not ejector models, it makes sense having a body that can eject on the move or on uneven ground.

Hi ejector was djb design and multi -drive was belt system ejector.which was sold to caterpillar .I think in another 5 years ejector again more selling point to dump body system .Good point is cleaner body every time when load is removed :thumbs_up: cheers Dennis

I guess the reasons there are not more ejectors is....
- with the ejector, the payload is less,
- they must cost more to buy and possibly to maintain

WELL i would less cost to maintain and payload may be less but if it loaded right you should get the tonnage on it ? 735 740 ejector are good seller for caterpillar why volvo or komatsu come up with a look like yet ? cheers Dennis
