Though I'd share a video I made of the blasting and spraying of a dumper I'm selling, I also made the new type stickers for it. Hope you enjoy it.

Nice one mate , had a good watch of that .
I'll need to get one of these blasters , that's brilliant .
Are you not worried that the shot or sand will get into the seals and bearings , or do you try and avoid those areas ?

Thanks mate appreciate it. It used to take me a day to rub one down now it takes about 1 1/2 hours.
Before blasting I degrease and steam clean to prevent any sand sticking to the grease. I don't directly spray at joints or near rams and have a knack of doing it now. Obviously if it was a strip down restoration these would be taken off and done separately. It get a good blow down before spraying too.

Yeah , that sounds good .
That does look like a good job .
Well done on the drone footage .
How did you edit the video ?. Is there a program or something that you use ?.
Just as an aside , what sort of money is the dumper .

No problem I enjoyed doing it. I used iMovie on the Mac. Took quite a while but worth it in the end.
I got £2700 for it. Just in the process of doing a Benford 2 ton in the new terex colours. Will make the updated stickers for it too.

You've done a good job mate , on the video as well .
I bought the kids an Aldi or Lidl GoPro each for Christmas , so we are just starting to get into all this video stuff .
We don't have a Mac , so it'll be something else that I need to look into .
Certainly agree that with a bit of effort the videos are great like yours .
The dumper looked a good buy for that money .

Hi, I'm in Bedfordshire. Your looking around £450-500 That includes steaming it completely down, blasting and spraying into colours and stickers. That's based on a 3 ton size.
Cheers

Fine sand/glass mix. No need to sand after which is handy.
