Hello all.
Do any of you show your dumpers at steam rallies etc.
If so how do you go about insurance as Walker Midgely and Adrian Flux cant cover it as its not road registered.
(Cant find a chassis number so registering it could be a problem)
Can anybody suggest any other cmpanies that I could approach.
Regards
Phil.

Re: Dumper insurance
Hi Phil not sure if they insure dumpers but Footman James offer special insurance for classics so it would not hurt to give them a try, just Google them.

Re: Dumper insurance
Got my 3c MkIII insured by Footman James for £110 a year third party fire and theft. The problem you have is that since your machine isnt going to be used on the road, the usual insurance companies struggle to quote you. You may have to go through a building plant insurance broker, rather than a road type insurance.
http://www.plantmaster.co.uk/plant.html These do plant insurance, but will be high as they assume the machinery is going to be used for work.
