I recall that Wrekin Construction in the 1990s into the early 2000s used to run a lot of Winger site dumpers with canopies and amber beacons on their projects. They went over to Benford/Terex Benford/Terex site dumpers but still had two Winget 5 tonne capacity models (year 2000 build) at the time they went into administration, in swivel tip configuration (see attached photo). I can't recall model numbers, but over the years I recall Wrekin having 3 and 5/6 tonne capacity models.

I came across the below image in an old academic journal article dating from 1964 with the below photo of a 1 3/4 cubic site dumper - no OEM ID, but it does bear the name of the plant hirer Eddison. It may be a Barford/Aveling Barford unit.

Thwaites first pivot steer 4wd I think. The driving position was not the best and the steering was a bit vague with a manual drag link moving a spool to actuate the steering ram.

The dozer blade option controlled by skip sounds interesting ,shame no pictures.
Never seen a dozer blade on a British dumper.

Just noticed the thumb pics in Winget Four/35 brochure do show dozer blade .
