Anyone had any experience with the Ausa D150 RMA (hi tip model)
This is still built, there was a D108 (once common in the A Plant fleet) & a D120 but the last two went hystat. Simple mech transmission & good road top speed in its favour. Are they sound & who's major components are used in them ie the gear box, clutch & drive axle. Would make a filler for muck away skips & tow my little Gopher 5 star once I get it up & running. Is there any syncro on the box - say 3rd & 4th (the later Thwaites small hi tip had syncro but a poorer top speed) The ability to shuttle reverse in any gear is also a plus. I gather there is a 2wd or 4wd option, any weaknesses in either?
Ausa Mechanical small dumpers, any good?
