A pair of Jones Bros well used A40C at their quarry on the Horseshoe Pass, North Wales.

Hi Tim,
They don't run tippers directly although they have one liveried up by a subbie. In the late 80's early 90's they bought a fleet of 2nd hand Volvo F7's complete with super single back wheels and scow end bodies. These were later replaced by 3 DAF 8x4's. This seems to be the case with Jones'. They buy for certain projects and then get rid of when not needed. They only run one truck at the moment, a Scania P124G 6x2, running with a 3 axle stepframe. All other plant movements are subbed out to Roger Jones or Arwel Thomas.
