Russell Saywell's open day. Sunday June 10th.2012

Post #1 by modelman093 » Sat May 12, 2012 11:59 pm

Always an interesting day with static exhibits plus lots of earth moving action.
Eaton Tractors, Pitt Farm, Great North Road, Little Paxton, St Neots, Cambridgeshire PE19 6HD.

My satnav gets me to within half a mile and then looses the plot but it's near the nature reserve and lakes!

As a new member of CMN,this open day sounds well worth a visit and is not too far from where I live in south Essex. Can anyone advise how I check that the event will go ahead and not subject to late cancellation?

Thanks Martyn. I googled Eaton Tractors Ltd. and found a tel.no.listed as 01480 473121. Do you know whether they would be a likely contact to confirm if this event is going ahead?

Just contact Russell on that number and keep a close eye on the weather. The forcast is showers off and on this week.Don't think we will get very heavy rain.

As usual a great day out and the rain held off (at least while I was there!) Thank you Russell.

Decent trip out down the A1 when several over events cancel due to a drop of water.

Some interesting machines besides the Caterpillars hiding in the long grass around the site.

Sorry No photos to share as Forum yet again fails to upload them to share with you :arrrrgh:

I cannot be bothered to search them all out again to try to upload them again.
