Bakewell Showground Spectacular 2010

Post #1 by Jeremy Rowland » Sun May 02, 2010 7:23 pm

Hi Folks,

Just got back from this two day event which is the first time this show has been held (not to be mixed up with other Bakewell shows).
There was a fair amount of preserved plant to be seen along with preserved trucks too and tractor pulling, all very much along the same lines as the "All Wales Truck Shows".
Present were most of the J.C.Balls preserved JCB's and many Cat crawlers and Tony Flints recently finished Hymac 580C.
Here's a few pictures for the moment I will post some more when the chance permits including one of a mystery crawler which I know that somebody on here will be able to identify.

Hello Jeremy,
These are Cracking photos. I look forward to seeing more.
No need to ask if you had a good day, or was it two days?
Good luck.
Fred,

Here's a few more pics there will be more but not tonight, the last pic shows the mystery crawler, now I'm sure I have seen one of these at S.E.Davis but I'm damned if I know what it is?

Yes David its Neville Fox's MF50, looked a nice piece of kit too!
I don't have anymore digi pics of it but may have some on my film camera when I get the film developed.
Unfortunately my digi camera decided to give me some grief today, I suspect that the battery may of seen better days, will find out for sure tomorrow.
Thanks Fred I knew somebody would identify that crawler :claphands:

Great Pictures Jeremy,
good job you had better weather up there yesterday than we did down here .... :dizzy:
I still think the Hymac looks strange with the black boom and dipper
