Link club AGM

Hi,
I attended the Link Club A.G.M. last Saturday and took some photos. I've been too busy to put them on till now but better late than never.
First a couple of picks of a chain land drain trencher on a Muir Hill tractor.

Before leaving the Link Club Day, the Venue was provided by Ben Smalley and family of "Smalley Excavator" fame.
Below are some of their surviving Smalley excavators and another pic. of John Fosters Cat. 60 ready for the off,
and a rare Thwaites Goliath dumper

That is a Thwaites Goliath not a Giant, its the 8 ton model with the 6 cylinder engine

Hi Richard, you are of course quite right. :thumbup: I will edit the post or everyone will be as confused as me. :?
I realised it was the 8 ton model but came up with the wrong name. :oops:
My only excuse is old age. :lol:

That’s my Dads Trader, he spent 10 years restoring it. The super major has since been sold

That’s my Dads Trader, he spent 10 years restoring it. The super major has since been sold to Paul Badger (pipelines) who is also my employer and very kindly lets me keep my D4 at his yard :thumbup:
