Re: Chipping 2015
I've not seen that red Ward La France before, and I thought I knew most of the ones in this country.
Wasnt the Sentinel DG8 their as well as the six wheeler? Spoke to the owner at Bronte Vintage fathering and he said he was taking it to Chipping.
Any pictures of the working plant area? That's the bit I most missed not having gone to the show as not many have such a section.

Re: Chipping 2015
Norman the 8 wheel Sentinel was there, can't recall if I got any pictures of it or not. I will post a few more and some from the plant section over the next few days. It was as ever a first class event to attend all round.

Paul I don't know what the official model was called all I know is that it was one of a very few bonneted tractors made by Atkinson, this one is powered by a Gardner 6LX 150 engine.

Re: Chipping 2015
Just out of interest here the Sherman tank in the top picture belonged to a local lad called Chris Till who is a big military collector and he drove the tank to the show on the road you wouldn't want to meet that coming down a narrow country lane towards you!
Note the two pieces of additional armour welded to the tanks side to try and give it greater protection where the ammunition is stored.
